"My process begins with collecting discarded material. Using photography, I capture unpredictable relationships between these bits of ocean plastic and their watery matrix, questioning ideas of assemblage and order. I arrange the debris into both chance and planned configurations to challenge our natural tendency to organize objects into categories."
